Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 July 2026
1. What we collect
From clients: account information (name, email, payment details handled by Stripe), podcast metadata (show name, RSS feed, episode data), and our correspondence with you.
From applicants: whatever you put in the beta application form. It reaches us by email through Formspree and is used to evaluate and reply to your application, nothing else.
From visitors to client websites: standard analytics via Umami (page views, referrers, device and browser type). Umami is cookieless, collects no personal data and needs no consent banner. We do not put advertising pixels or third-party cookies on client websites.
2. This website
poddisco.com itself runs two things: Umami, described above, and Microsoft Clarity, which records anonymised interaction data so we can see where the page confuses people. Neither is an advertising tool and we do not run advertising pixels here. If you would rather not be measured at all, browser do-not-track and content blockers are respected.
3. How we use data
We use client data to run the service: build and maintain your website, generate content, and report on performance. We use visitor analytics to report traffic to clients. We do not sell data to anyone, and we do not use one client's data to benefit another.
4. Where it is stored
Content data lives in Cloudflare D1 databases with per-client isolation. Analytics data lives in a self-hosted Umami instance. Payment data is processed by Stripe and poddisco never stores card numbers. Infrastructure runs on Cloudflare's global edge and on servers in Germany.
5. Retention and deletion
Client data is retained for the service term plus 90 days. After termination and offboarding, we delete our copies. You can request immediate deletion at any time, and you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you.
6. Client responsibilities
Clients are responsible for the privacy policy published on their own website. poddisco provides a template to start from.
7. Contact
Questions, or a request about your data: hi@poddisco.com. poddisco is operated by Podcast Discoverability Corporation, a Wyoming corporation.
